Senior Systems Engineer – Security Team

Job Description

Contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of the security team's infrastructure. Ensure the continuous uptime and dependability of security platforms through proactive monitoring, timely alerts, and strategic capacity planning. Take charge of managing and evolving cloud infrastructure across datacenter-dedicated servers and cloud providers. Enhance operational efficiency by automating routine tasks, including provisioning, configuration management, patching, and secret rotation. Serve as the primary technical owner for troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure incidents. Maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and detailed change logs. Partner closely with security engineers to ensure underlying platforms effectively meet tooling and integration requirements.

Qualifications

1. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration within production environments. 2. Requires comprehensive expertise in Linux internals, covering systems, networking stack, storage, and performance tuning. 3. Requires a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, routing, and firewalling (iptables / nftables). 4. Requires experience with bare-metal and dedicated server environments (such as Hetzner or similar providers). 5. Requires hands-on experience in deploying, operating, and hardening Kubernetes clusters in production, including cluster lifecycle management, CNI networking (Cilium preferred), storage, and RBAC. 6. Requires experience in deploying, configuring, and operating ClickHouse and PostgreSQL in a production environment. 7. Requires hands-on experience in operating and maintaining Keycloak in production, including HA setup, backend management, and realm/client configuration. 8. Requires a thorough understanding of identity protocols, including OIDC, SAML 2.0, and OAuth 2.0. 9. Requires hands-on experience in operating infrastructure across cloud platforms and dedicated servers, including compute, networking, storage, and cost optimization. 10. Requires proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, SaltStack, and Ansible. 11. Requires strong scripting skills in Python and/or Go for automation and operational tooling. 12. Requires experience in building and maintaining monitoring stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager. 13. Requires familiarity with log management and aggregation tools like Vector, Loki, or ELK. 14. Requires clear and structured written and verbal communication skills. 15. Requires Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English level.
