Senior System Administrator
Job Description
Omnidian is seeking a Senior System Administrator to lead the implementation and lifecycle management of critical infrastructure projects. This role involves serving as a senior technical escalation point, mentoring junior IT staff, and contributing to architectural decisions for SharePoint Online. You will own and support infrastructure solutions to meet demand spikes during international expansion and M&A activities. Partnering with the Information Security Team, you'll execute tasks to remediate security findings within SOC2 and ISO frameworks. Additionally, you'll develop and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans. Maintaining technical designs and providing high-level engineering support for complex issues are also key responsibilities. You will design and maintain monitoring frameworks to track system health and engage with vendors to understand product roadmaps. Technical management of the global cloud stack is also required.
Qualifications
1. Proven Project Leadership: Experience leading high-stake IT infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery. 2. Professional Experience: 4+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering. 3. Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation is required. Project management certification/experience is a plus. 4. Expert Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell and Python for automating user lifecycles and data bridging. 5. Technical Mastery: Experience with cloud and endpoint management tools like Google Workspace and Azure. 6. AI Literacy: Experience leveraging AI platforms to accelerate troubleshooting and automation.
