Job Description

Join our global customer support team as a Senior Support Engineer, SAP ABAP, providing outstanding remote assistance for essential SAP applications. Use your expert knowledge of SAP ABAP in various application functionalities to methodically troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues. Work closely with clients to understand their needs, facilitate business changes, and ensure consistently high-quality customer experiences. Support client customizations and offer advice on best practices for implementation. Develop application fixes for critical product defects and create scripts for identifying, analyzing, and correcting data issues. Manage key accounts as a technical and functional advisor, offering hands-on assistance in a test environment or via remote client connectivity using proprietary tools. Enhance client experiences by contributing to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and innovative processes.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2. SAP certification(s) preferred. 3. 12+ years of relevant ABAP experience. 4. Proficiency in Functional ABAP-based troubleshooting. 5. Client-facing support skills. 6. A proven track record in successful SAP implementation or upgrade projects. 7. Analytical and logical problem-resolution skills. 8. Knowledge of localizations: architecture, implementation, and key functionality. 9. Expertise with S/4 Hana, including full life-cycle implementation experience. 10. Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics and SAP architecture. 11. Demonstrable history of solving complex problems across multiple modules. 12. 5+ years of direct support to application end-users in a corporate environment. 13. Mentoring and training knowledge and experience. 14. Deep working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processes. 15. Excellent client-facing and relationship-building skills. 16. Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly. 17. Ability to work calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations. 18. Experience with ABAP debug troubleshooting. 19. Excellent development skills using the SAP toolset.
