Job Description
Become a Senior Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) within WISI's dynamic sales team, where you'll drive customer success across North America. Utilize your expertise in technical discovery, solution architecture, and deployment support to excel in this remote role. Work closely with the Principal Solutions Architect, leveraging your deep knowledge of Linux, networking, and video workflows to meet customer needs and fuel long-term growth.
Qualifications
1. Possess 10+ years in video headend equipment, mastering workflows from encoding to transport stream processing. 2. Demonstrate working knowledge of IPTV, Cable headend systems, MPEG-2 Transport Streams, multiplexing, ASI, ATSC 1.0/3.0, QAM, DVB-C Annex B, ABR/OTT, HLS, MPEG-DASH, DRM, and video/audio encoding formats. 3. Exhibit extensive Linux experience, skilled in administrative and troubleshooting tools. 4. Showcase administrator-level networking abilities, including diagnostics and Layer-3 concepts. 5. Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to diverse audiences. 6. Apply consultative skills to clarify needs and constraints during customer discovery. 7. Be proficient in Microsoft 365, especially Visio, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint. 8. Develop professional technical documentation and diagrams for customer validation.
