Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Take the lead in software development projects at OCLC. This role involves independently designing, developing, and testing complex software programs and systems. Collaborate with team members and mentor junior engineers. Provide technical guidance to ensure the creation of high-quality software solutions. Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement features and enhancements.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2. 7+ years of experience in software development. 3. Strong programming skills in one or more languages. 4. Extensive experience with software development methodologies. 5. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams. 6. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. 7. Deep understanding of database systems. 8. Experience with cloud platforms. 9. Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture. 10. Experience integrating AI tools, frameworks, and concepts into software development.
