Senior Software Engineer I/II – Frontend

Job Description

Join Genea as a Senior Software Engineer, where you'll design, implement, and maintain features on our web platforms. Contribute to our design system by building reusable components and collaborate closely with product designers to make key decisions. You'll optimize the platform for top performance, continuously improve development experience, and think like an architect to anticipate and address future needs. Ensure seamless component functionality across various browsers and devices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or a related field. 2. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs/GraphQL, HTML/CSS, ES6 (variables and scoping, array methods), and browser capabilities. 3. Solid proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms, JSX, and Babel. 4. Comprehensive knowledge of ReactJS and its main fundamentals such as JSX, Virtual DOM, and component lifecycle. 5. Prior experience with ReactJS workflows like Flux, Redux, and Create React App. 6. Experience designing and implementing reusable components with React. 7. Familiarity with performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest. 8. Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software. 9. Proven ability to work collaboratively with UX/UI Designers to create exceptional user experiences. 10. Awareness of front-end trends and how to leverage technology to empower our business and customers. 11. Excellent time management, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. 12. Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. 13. Availability to resolve urgent application issues outside of business hours. 14. Knowledge of OWASP security principles. 15. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
