Senior Software Engineer – Fullstack

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive modernization initiatives and streamline workflows. This role involves utilizing AI agents to accelerate framework upgrades, refactors, API extraction, and test scaffolding while ensuring quality and preventing regressions. You'll develop reusable playbooks, including prompt templates and migration checklists, to facilitate AI-assisted changes across the team. A key focus will be modernizing a .NET + SQL Server stack, prioritizing security and privacy. Collaboration with analysts, stakeholders, and other engineers is essential to translate business needs into effective software solutions.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in building and shipping production systems. 2. Proficiency in C# and modern .NET (Core and beyond), with experience in large codebases and refactoring. 3. Strong skills in SQL Server, including schema design, query tuning, and performance troubleshooting. 4. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and/or AWS. 5. Expertise in API design, including building and maintaining service-oriented architectures. 6. Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex for refactoring, migrations, and test generation. 7. Excellent communication skills for PR descriptions, design documentation, and team collaboration.
