Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to building resilient and scalable APIs for Aetna Health customers using cloud technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective solutions. Work closely with Product Management, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Architecture teams. Responsibilities include coding, developing software components, implementing complex functionalities, and integrating various software components or systems. Write and execute test cases, conduct code reviews, and perform debugging. Participate in SAFe agile or other development methodologies. Explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance digital solutions. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development. 2. Minimum of 3 years of NodeJS development experience, utilizing TypeScript or JavaScript. 3. Minimum of 3 years of cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). 4. Minimum of 2 years of experience with domain driven design (DDD) and microservice architectures. 5. Minimum of 2 years of experience designing architectural solutions based on product requirements and considering both server and client needs. 6. Minimum of 2 years of experience with monitoring and observability, along with building scalable services. 7. Minimum of 2 years of experience implementing various database solutions (SQL/NoSQL DB).
