Senior Software Engineer

Join ClassPass as a Senior Software Engineer to build and evolve backend systems that power our platform. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA to translate ideas into reliable, scalable solutions that meet customer needs. You'll design and develop robust backend services and APIs, promoting engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, and effective monitoring. Drive simplicity, identify risks early, and improve observability. Contribute to architecture decisions and foster a collaborative team culture valuing autonomy and accountability.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of experience building and operating backend systems for large-scale SaaS platforms. 2. Proficiency in object-oriented languages like Java, Kotlin, or C#. 3. Experience architecting and designing backend services in a microservices environment. 4. Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Kibana. 5. Understanding of SDLC, design patterns, and Agile methodologies. 6. Strong SQL and relational database skills. 7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 8.
