Senior Software Engineer, CI/CD – Developer Tooling

Job Description

Shape the CI/CD platform architecture, evolving it from a monolith to a modern, modular, reliable, and user-friendly system for developers. As a hands-on senior contributor, transform concepts into tangible solutions, boosting engineering efficiency, and influencing roadmap decisions based on developer insights. Develop and enhance developer-facing tools and APIs, ensuring their reliability, security, and ease of use.

Qualifications

1. Extensive background in constructing and overseeing dependable and highly accessible systems. 2. Familiarity with cloud infrastructures (AWS), operating containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes), and contemporary CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). 3. Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments with a strong advocacy for Infrastructure-as-Code. 4. Experience in coding, going beyond scripting (Go/Elixir/Ruby skills are advantageous). 5. Demonstrated capability to manage intricate projects across multiple teams, displaying independence and initiative. 6. Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, cultivate trust with engineers, and address their issues to improve their overall experience.
