Senior Software Engineer – APIs

Job Description

Join our team to translate business needs into technical solutions! You'll craft innovative solutions for partners and customers, building applications that meet functionality requirements while following development and testing best practices. Collaborate with the engineering team on the Snowflake data lake, ensuring optimal design and maintenance to support our APIs. Your responsibilities include producing high-quality internal and external documentation, creating data metrics, and visualizations to verify and optimize complex algorithms.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in Java 8+ software development using the Java Spring Framework for REST APIs. 2. Strong SQL database skills, including database design, table design, automated processes, and efficient querying. 3. Snowflake SQL experience is highly preferred. 4. Proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its services. 5. Experience efficiently processing data in JSON and GeoJSON formats. 6. Familiarity with programming languages like Scala, Python, or similar. 7. Proven ability to break down projects into smaller tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 8. Experience in software projects from concept to production. 9. Proficient in Agile methodologies. 10. Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
