Senior Software Engineer, Android

Job Description

Contribute to our Android mobile application(s) using Kotlin, creating engaging user experiences. Understand mobile platform differences, guiding other developers. Participate in mobile application planning, architecture, implementation, and maintenance. Utilize Agile methods in software development. Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and automation testing. Assist in selecting appropriate frameworks for the product. Contribute to relevant Open-Source projects. Conduct code reviews, promoting coding best practices.

Qualifications

1. 4+ years of professional mobile Android development experience 2. Strong knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK (Compose and Coroutines) 3. Deep understanding of design patterns and how they can be applied to mobile development 4. Experience in debugging mobile applications 5. Knowledge in writing automated tests using mocked data 6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills 7. Experience working in an Agile team environment 8. Experience with reactive programming, dependency injection techniques, MVI/MVVM architecture pattern 9. Familiarity with Jetpack libraries and tools such as AndroidX, LiveData, Data Binding, Flow, and Navigation 10. Graphics related experience — working with Canvas API, bitmaps, shaders etc. 11. MediaCodec, OpenGL, or other low-level video and graphics experience
