Job Description

Join Spokeo as a Senior Software Developer and contribute to our backend RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth data flow from third-party vendors. You'll play a key role in supporting data access across multiple databases for our critical infrastructure. Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps within Scrum teams to deliver user-focused solutions. Responsibilities include crafting clean, high-performance code and maintaining detailed API documentation and flow diagrams. Your work will directly impact our ability to provide seamless and efficient data solutions to our users.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 2. Minimum 7 years of web application or backend API development experience. 3. At least 3 years working with search products or features using OpenSearch or ElasticSearch. 4. Minimum 2 years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. 5. Proven experience in implementing and troubleshooting high-usage, high-throughput systems. 6. Strong skills in optimizing application performance and database queries. 7. Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS. 8. Preferred understanding of data integration and ETL processes, with API and data ingestion experience. 9. Preferred familiarity with big data processing frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, and Data Lakes. 10. Preferred 2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, or Node.js.
