Job Description

As a Senior SBA Product Business Development Officer, your primary duty involves proactively seeking SBA loan opportunities, with a focus on fostering client relationships and conducting thorough analysis. Responsibilities include reviewing financial documents, structuring loan proposals, performing initial evaluations, and assembling comprehensive credit packages. Ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, agency guidelines, and organizational policies is crucial. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree or the equivalent of four years of SBA lending experience is required. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in SBA, business, or commercial lending is necessary. 3. A degree in business or finance is preferred. 4. Proven experience in SBA loan origination is essential. 5. Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems is expected. 6. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are vital. 7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor, are necessary for face-to-face and phone interactions. 8. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail are important. 9. The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks is required. 10. Proficiency in PC and internet usage is essential.
