Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise

Job Description

Join Fivetran as a Senior Sales Engineer and work with Enterprise customers to deeply understand their business needs, use cases, and data replication requirements. Craft and present compelling technical presentations to Enterprise audiences. Drive technical wins by leading a thorough proof-of-value process. Collaborate with Fivetran's Product, Post Sale Services, Support, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of solutions with customer needs. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key Enterprise customers and partners. Stay informed about the latest industry technologies and trends.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience selling IT services or products in an enterprise environment. 2. Solid knowledge of at least one relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, or Sybase. 3. Experience interacting with databases (e.g., basic troubleshooting, knowledge of logging/archiving, or basic installation/administration). 4. Proficiency in at least one cloud data warehouse platform (CDW). 5. Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Post-Sales Services, Support, and Engineering teams. 6. Strong technical background in database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data integration technologies. 7. Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, data catalogs, and BI platforms. 8. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
