Senior Sales Director

Job Description

Own your market with a CEO mindset, understanding the landscape, key players, and business opportunities. Proactively prospect through research, industry events, and outreach. Develop deep familiarity with target accounts, decision-making processes, and competitive positioning. Represent Aven Hospitality at industry events and customer meetings. Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying leads to closing deals. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce. Forecast accurately and transparently communicate pipeline health. Collaborate with Sales Consultants for demonstrations and RFPs. Lead the commercial process, including pricing, proposals, negotiation, and contract execution. Master Aven's product portfolio and align solutions with customer priorities. Communicate value narratives that highlight customer outcomes. Ensure smooth handoffs to Account Management and Customer Success. Partner with Sales Consulting, Account Management, and Customer Success teams. Share field intelligence to improve the go-to-market approach. Operate as a credible colleague who elevates the commercial team.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience selling above quota in the hospitality industry or hospitality technology sector. 2. Proven track record as a hunter with consistent prospecting and a strong sales pipeline. 3. Strong business acumen in qualification, deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation. 4. Knowledge of CRS, PMS, or distribution technology to engage with revenue management and IT decision-makers. 5. Proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to senior hotel executives. 7. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-growth environment while adhering to team standards. 8. Willingness to travel frequently within your market and to industry events. 9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is accepted.
