Senior Reimbursement Specialist – Financial Reporting

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Reimbursement Specialist to handle financial reporting for INTEGRIS Health. This role involves: * Collecting, recording, and reviewing documentation required by CMS for submission in key areas like Organ Acquisition, Bad Debts, and DSH. * Managing and coordinating Medicare cost report audits, including wage index, EHR, and other special audits, with review of proposed audit adjustments. * Preparing and submitting accurate Medicare and third-party cost reports in compliance with CMS regulations. * Participating in ad hoc revenue analysis projects and assisting with the identification of Medicare issues for appeals. * Reviewing the reasonableness and accuracy of interim reimbursement rates and special payments, and following up with the MAC as needed. * Preparing monthly contractual allowances and cost report reserves schedules. * Submitting annual Medicaid DSH surveys and participating in Medicaid DSH audits and year-end Cost Report filings. * Monitoring changes in Medicare regulations and reimbursement, providing updated schedules.

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years of experience in hospital third party reimbursement 2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (or five years of equivalent experience). 3. Experience with the Medicare Administrative Contractor is highly preferred. 4. Experience with PeopleSoft and Epic is highly preferred.
