Job Description

Join Ruby Labs as a Senior React Native Developer and contribute to the evolution of mobile experiences. This role involves developing and delivering new product features, enhancing the existing React Native codebase, and defining mobile architecture. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create scalable solutions, uphold standards for reliability and performance, and troubleshoot production issues. Drive improvements in build systems and champion performance enhancements across various application aspects.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of mobile application development experience with React Native. 2. Experience mentoring engineers in code reviews and architecture is a plus. 3. Strong understanding of mobile system design and state management. 4. Experience optimizing UI performance and memory usage. 5. Deep knowledge of React internals. 6. Experience with native modules and iOS/Android bridging. 7. Experience shipping and maintaining apps on app stores. 8. Experience with CI/CD and OTA updates. 9. Experience implementing monitoring and observability. 10. Demonstrated ownership of edge cases and failure modes. 11. Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy. 12. High standards for clean code and documentation.
