Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – 12 month contract

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and implement detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases for both new and existing product features. You'll collaborate with developers to manually test new functionalities during development, and test software applications on mobile devices, reporting information to aid in debugging. You'll also work closely with product teams to efficiently resolve issues and implement corrective actions. Responsibilities include triaging and debugging technical support requests, maintaining regression test scripts, and testing scenarios.

Qualifications

1. Must be based in the EEA with a valid working visa for an Irish company. 2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing and automation as a QA Engineer. 3. Good programming ability with experience in backend and frontend development. 4. Experience writing test plans and cases from specifications or verbal communication. 5. Mobile app, integration, and API testing experience with strong technical knowledge. 6. Understanding of continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., AWS Code Pipelines, Jenkins, Bitrise). 7. Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8. Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate effectively with team members. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. 10. Passion for quality and attention to detail. 11. Experience in a security-conscious environment is an advantage. 12. ISTQB or similar certification is an advantage.
