Job Description

Join a dynamic fintech company as a Senior QA Automation Engineer. In this role, you will: • Design, maintain, and scale robust automation frameworks using Playwright for end-to-end flows and APIs, ensuring maintainable, stable, and high-value scripts. • Automate API, microservices, and end-to-end flow testing using Playwright with TypeScript and sound test architecture practices. • Support the load, stress, and performance testing strategy with K6, analyzing bottlenecks and validating the platform's ability to support critical transactional peaks. • Work closely with Product and Engineering to break down user stories, identify edge cases, and design test scenarios aligned with actual business risk. • Integrate AI tools, LLMs, and copilots into the QA lifecycle to optimize code generation, synthetic data creation, regression prioritization, and results analysis. • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stable execution, clear reporting, and effective coordination with DevOps. • Raise the quality standard through code reviews, pipeline optimization, quality metrics definition, and application of sound development practices. • Validate data, results, and process consistency using SQL in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and tools like DBeaver. • Analyze test results, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose continuous optimization of the automation framework. • Complement automation with functional or manual testing when the flow's context, criticality, or maturity requires it. • Report bugs, suggestions, and improvements with traceability, clear severity/priority criteria, and a focus on business impact. • Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to defining DoD and DoR from a QA Automation perspective in critical requirements.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess: 1. 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or solid experience building and maintaining automation frameworks. 2. Proven experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber under the Page Object Model (POM) pattern. 3. Experience in API, microservices, and end-to-end flow automation. 4. Demonstrated experience in performance, load, or stress testing, ideally with K6. 5. Proficiency in automated functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing strategies, aligned with acceptance and business criteria. 6. Advanced SQL skills in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and tools like DBeaver. 7. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. 8. Advanced knowledge of Git, good branching practices, peer review, and code review. 9. Good code development practices and SOLID principles applied to automation. 10. Functional knowledge of AWS, especially S3 and integration services. 11. Ability to perform functional/manual testing when the context requires it. 12. Experience working under Agile/Scrum methodologies. 13. Excellent documentation, traceability, and novelty management skills. 14. AI-ready mindset: practical use of AI assistants for case generation, regression prioritization, code support, and results analysis.
