Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

Join Bjak as a Senior QA Automation Engineer and help build robust automation frameworks. In this role, you'll design and develop automated test suites for web, API services, and other application types. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests. Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve defects and improve QA efficiency. Maintain test data and environments, and document test plans.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 2. 3+ years of experience in QA Automation for backend services and cloud infrastructure. 3. Strong experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium. 4. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. 5. Solid understanding of REST APIs and automated API testing (Postman, Newman, REST Assured). 6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). 7. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices. 8. Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
