Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Valtech is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage CMS Platform projects from UXR through Design and Build. The role requires expertise in the functional use of the client’s chosen CMS platform, driving UI/UX best commerce experience. Responsibilities include leading system demonstrations and training, facilitating team meetings (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/retrospectives), and Agile release planning. The Senior Project Manager will coach the team in Agile techniques, manage project issues and risks, support the Product Owner, ensure transparency through Agile metrics, and advocate for Agile delivery methodology. This role also involves influencing software development lifecycles, conducting business analysis, building roadmaps, and providing recommendations catered to client industries.

Qualifications

1. Must have 10+ years of experience in a delivery lead role within a software development Agile environment, product experience is a plus. 2. Must have 5+ years of experience with a Content Management System; Optimizely, Contentful, etc. 3. Experience leading global Agile teams of 8+ developers and designers with product owner responsibility. 4. Demonstrated success in iterative release of software systems. 5. Demonstrated experience implementing AI on delivery software solutions. 6. Experience managing project budgets of $5 million+. 7. Deep understanding of empirical data needed for stakeholder reporting and team measurement. 8. Proven ability to manage budget, forecast, margin, and utilization of project team in a Fixed Fee or Time & Material setting. 9. Experience working with Rally/Jira or a similar project management software.
