Senior Project Manager

Job Description

Take the lead in the end-to-end execution of large and complex electrical substation projects, catering to both greenfield and brownfield programs for utility and data center clients. Own the overall project performance, managing scope, schedule, budget, cash flow, risk, quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Act as the main point of contact with clients, fostering strong communication, resolving issues, and building trust throughout the project lifecycle. Create and implement project execution strategies to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery. Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, field services, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to achieve project goals. Direct project planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance reviews, offering clear insights into progress, risks, and financial health. Oversee contract administration, change orders, claims, and commercial discussions, adhering to contractual requirements. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, technical, and contractual standards. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, while addressing issues that may impact cost, schedule, or customer satisfaction. Offer support for proposal development, pre-award planning, and project turnover activities. Mentor and guide project team members, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. 2. Possess a minimum of 10 years of project management experience in EPC electrical substation and high-voltage power systems projects. 3. Demonstrate success in managing complex, customer-facing projects with responsibility for financial, operational, and commercial outcomes. 4. Have a strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, forecasting, contract management, and risk mitigation. 5. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. 6. Showcase a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced settings. 7. Be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support. 8. Be willing to travel up to 25%, including occasional international trips. 9. Adhere to all relevant company travel and tax policies.
