Senior Product Solutions Architect

Job Description

As a Senior Product Solutions Architect, you will: - Design scalable and robust solutions in AWS to ensure high performance. - Create detailed documentation of architecture designs, technical patterns, and solutions. - Uphold and enhance product architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and practices. - Evaluate current architecture, pinpoint gaps and opportunities, and create target state architectures. - Clearly define and communicate the product architecture roadmap to align with business objectives. - Provide expert guidance to project teams on architecture standards and guidelines. - Act as a key architecture liaison for external requests and queries. - Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop fitting solutions. - Take the lead in technical discussions and foster consensus among engineers. - Support critical engineering and architecture initiatives for high-profile programs. - Actively participate in architecture and design choices, thoroughly documenting all decisions.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Senior Product Solutions Architect role, you should have: 1. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 2. 8+ years of tech experience in business system analysis, and product & feature design. 3. 3+ years of experience designing solutions in an AWS cloud environment. 4. 2+ years of experience analyzing and proposing target state architecture. 5. Experience in refactoring apps, performance tuning, cost benefit analysis, risk analysis, and observability practices. 6. Proficiency in AWS managed services like DynamoDB, S3, Postgres SQL, EKS, and Amazon Kafka (MSK). 7. Strong understanding of API security standards such as OAuth and SAML. 8. Extensive Java experience in an enterprise setting. 9. Experience with microservices and monolithic architectures. 10. Experience in REST APIs using Spring/Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. 11. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based container tech like OpenShift and AWS EKS. 12. Familiarity with CI/CD tools, frameworks, and methodologies. 13. Experience creating tech documentation for solution architecture and designs. 14. Working knowledge of Product and Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, and Tech Roadmaps. 15. Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. 16. Willingness to travel as needed (minimal travel expected).
