Senior Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to craft clear and compelling product messaging and positioning across various customer segments. This role involves articulating our platform's value proposition by focusing on tangible customer outcomes. You'll develop and maintain comprehensive messaging frameworks tailored for both technical practitioners and executive audiences. Key responsibilities include creating engaging website content and marketing assets, conducting in-depth research on industry trends and competitive landscapes, and leading go-to-market strategies for new product launches. You'll also develop persona-specific launch content, collaborate with sales to refine messaging for different buyer personas, and partner with marketing and product teams to produce high-quality, impactful content.

Qualifications

1. Extensive hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or the cloud-native ecosystem is essential. 2. A deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, and Helm, as well as container orchestration with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline architectures, is required. 3. Working knowledge of CI/CD, SRE practices and tooling, including error budgets, runbooks, incident management, and observability with metrics, logs, traces, and alerting, is necessary. 4. The ability to quickly assess technical content for accuracy, relevance, and audience suitability without needing to relearn fundamentals is crucial. 5. Comfort in holding substantive conversations with engineers, architects, platform teams, and senior technical leaders is expected. 6. A demonstrated willingness to adopt AI-augmented workflows, utilizing tools like Claude or ChatGPT, is important. 7. The ability to translate technical capabilities into outcome-focused narratives that resonate with executive buyers is key. 8. Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, and sales teams in a fast-paced startup environment is highly valued.
