Senior Product Manager, Infrastructure Observability

Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager, you will: - Transform ideas and feedback into a clear product vision and roadmap. - Understand customer challenges to gather user needs, requirements, and pain points. - Effectively communicate user feedback to Engineering, supporting tradeoffs and priorities with evidence. - Collaborate with Product Marketing to enable go-to-market strategies, including creating and updating presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers. - Leverage your product expertise to inform decisions on go-to-market approaches, pricing, packaging, licensing, and tiering.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have: 1. A BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience. 2. 7+ years of experience in Product Management. 3. 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS product. 4. Experience with developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services. 5. Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts. 6. Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams. 7. Experience working with Engineering and Design teams to build excellent products and features in a fast-paced environment. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Bonus Points: - Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies. - Experience using or building observability products and/or developer tools, either as an SRE or for external customers. - Proficiency with infrastructure concepts and components – like Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VMs – and able to articulate these models. - Experience with AI tools.
