Senior Product Designer

Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience for YouGov's data products. Your responsibilities include: 1. Defining and articulating design strategies to stakeholders, aligning with key strategic goals. 2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Design) to ensure consistency and usability. 3. Contributing to all stages of the product development lifecycle. 4. Maintaining and evolving the Data Experience Platform design system. 5. Monitoring performance and usage data to identify opportunities and measure impact. 6. Designing and conducting user interviews and usability testing. 7. Leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights to understand customer behavior and needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have: 1. 5+ years of experience in a Product Design role with a portfolio of shipped products. 2. Proven experience designing data products, dashboards, or analytics interfaces. 3. Experience with design systems creation and maintenance. 4. A strong foundation in typography, iconography, and color theory. 5. Experience building design research plans and conducting user research. 6. Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools. 7. Strong knowledge of accessibility standards. 8. Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills.
