Job Description
Join AECOM as a Senior Procurement Specialist and take the lead in overseeing all aspects of the acquisition process. Responsibilities include meticulous review of major procurements, development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, and preparation of comprehensive documentation for supplies and services. You'll draft specifications, solicitations, and requests for information, ensuring thorough supplier evaluations and composing precise documentation for contracts, awards, and purchase orders. Accurate recording of obligations and adjustments, evaluation, and monitoring of contract performance are critical. Coordination of delivery, installation, and contract review with stakeholders, along with timely responses to inquiries and a commitment to promoting safety, complete this pivotal role.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent. 2. Master's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution plus 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent. 3. Extensive knowledge of the California State Contracting Manual (SCM). 4. Proficiency in competitive and non-competitive bid processes. 5. Understanding of SB/DVBE participation requirements. 6. Knowledge of contract formation and amendments. 7. Compliance with Cal eProcure/FI$Cal systems. 8. Contracting Professional Certification: FAC-C Professional, DAWIA Level II or III, or equivalent. 9. Exceptional Communication Skills. 10. Multitasking and Organizational Skills.
