Senior Principal Engineer, Product Cyber Vulnerability Assessment
Job Description
Join RTX as a Senior Principal Engineer and lead product cyber vulnerability assessments. Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity evaluations across embedded systems, avionics, and cloud-connected components. Assess attack surfaces, identify weaknesses, and deliver prioritized mitigation recommendations. Review design artifacts, conduct threat modeling, and guide engineering teams on secure design practices. Provide cybersecurity training and support to sustain a strong product cybersecurity posture. Simulate adversary behaviors to demonstrate realistic risk and help product teams identify areas needing hardening or redesign.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2. 10+ years of experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, or offensive security. 3. Strong proficiency with penetration testing and vulnerability analysis tools. 4. Experience delivering training material to both technical and leadership audiences. 5. Professional certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, OSEP, GPEN, GWAPT, GDSA, or CISSP. 6. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance. 7. U.S. citizenship is required.
