Senior Pricing Analyst
Job Description
ICON plc is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to oversee site payment vendor management, ensuring accountability for services outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The role involves maintaining a strong understanding of Fair Market Value benchmarks to inform payment decisions. Responsibilities include managing global payment processes, overseeing the total study budget with a focus on Poland, and ensuring compliance with country-specific payment rules. The analyst will support the implementation of SOW and Change Order processes, monitor project costs, and provide assistance to Research and Development (R&D) activities related to clinical trial operations. Monitoring project progress, identifying variances, and taking corrective actions are key, along with collaborating with third-party vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and fulfill monthly reporting requests. The role also requires tracking payments owed to clinical research sites, monitoring invoice aging, and proactively overseeing invoice review and payment processes. The analyst will align with internal partners on invoice and payment discussions, maintain clear communication with external partners, and conduct predictive analysis to forecast anticipated expenses, enhancing financial management and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications or experience in pricing analysis or clinical trial management are advantageous. 2. At least 2 years of experience on the similar position in clinical research or pharmaceutical industry. 3. Extensive experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy development, or cost management, preferably within the clinical research or healthcare sector. 4. Proven ability to analyze complex cost data, develop pricing models, and provide actionable insights for financial decision-making. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools. 6. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
