Senior Policy Advisor – Operations, Policy Analyst 4

Job Description

This Senior Policy Advisor position involves overseeing crucial financial services programs regulated by DCBS and influencing other state entities. Responsibilities include monitoring policy implementation, representing the agency to stakeholders, managing projects, conducting program evaluations, and developing legislation.

Qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Behavioral/Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or a related field, plus five years of professional-level analytical and planning experience. OR a combination of education and experience equivalent to eight years in this area. 2. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, for diverse audiences. 3. Experience in policy development and strategic planning. 4. Proven ability to facilitate meetings and work effectively with diverse stakeholders. 5. Understanding of how policy changes impact the public and financial markets. 6. Knowledge of legislative and rulemaking procedures. 7. Strong public relation skills. 8. Ability to draft rules and legislation.
