Join Kaufland e-commerce as a Senior Platform Engineer and proactively partner with development teams to identify needs and deliver value-driven solutions that boost efficiency. Take responsibility for critical platform services like GitLab, Vault, and Datadog, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure. Make the platform seamless for developers by implementing custom features in Go and TypeScript. Enable confident, fast decisions by making systems observable and providing clear guidelines, reducing Mean Time To Detect (MTTD).

Qualifications

1. Strong experience in application development (Go; TypeScript is a plus) and a solid understanding of distributed systems design. 2. Proven ability to build high-quality, easy-to-maintain software, supporting development teams through code reviews and goal alignment. 3. Solid understanding of infrastructure components (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows. 4. Capable of maintaining and upgrading critical system components. 5. A preference for simple, high-impact solutions, avoiding overengineering, and delivering incremental improvements that meet developer needs. 6. Embrace AI-driven development and use modern AI tools to increase efficiency, focusing on problem-solving and high-quality delivery. 7. Fluent in English (C1) and enjoy working in an international environment.
