Job Description

Become a Senior Performance Testing Engineer and drive advancements in healthcare technology at Centene. This role focuses on implementing and executing performance testing services using automated tools to identify system bottlenecks and ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability. Responsibilities include: • Implementing and executing all forms of performance testing services using automated testing tools to identify system bottlenecks and to ensure system reliability, capacity and scalability. • Designing, developing, and writing performance test scripts and applies performance engineering best practices to drive innovation of performance engineering services. • Optimizing the overall test process to attain efficiency for the enterprise. • Designing, building, testing and deploying effective testing solutions which measure the performance of internally developed products and alerts of any discrepancies or defects. • Applying automated tools in testing applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Creating charts of performance test results for further investigation and showcase impact on performance to stakeholders. • Translating performance specifications/requirements/criteria into effective test designs and test cases. • Supporting the test team by recommending tools and processes to improve performance of internally developed products. • Identifying regression testing needs by creating and maintaining an Automated Performance Test Suite. • Providing timely project-related data as required in applicable systems.

Qualifications

To excel as a Senior Performance Testing Engineer, the following qualifications are essential: 1. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) 2. 4 – 6 years of related experience 3. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle especially with US Healthcare domain knowledge 4. Knowledge of Neoload or other industry standard Performance testing tool 5. Experience with Programming Concepts; Programming Tools [Python and Java] 6. Knowledge of CI/CD tools, App monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk 7. Experience with developing performance test automation suite for microservice based applications that use cloud technologies such as Containers, Kubernetes, Kafka, Object store, etc. 8. Knowledge of IVR testing tools such as Cyara 9. Ability to work independently 10. Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
