Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Description

Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of monthly salaries to our clients' employees as a Senior Payroll Specialist. Responsibilities include: 1. Inputting data into the system, validating entries, and performing necessary calculations. 2. Processing statutory documentation to maintain compliance. 3. Running payroll processes efficiently and promptly addressing employee queries via email or telephone. 4. Preparing comprehensive reports, performing reconciliations, and executing payments. 5. Testing payroll system functionalities to ensure optimal performance. 6. Supporting less experienced colleagues by reviewing files and reports in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and agreed deadlines. 7. Highlighting potential risks and errors to relevant parties in a timely manner, adhering to risk management processes. 8. Identifying areas for improvement within the team to enhance overall effectiveness. 9. Building strong relationships with client teams, representatives, and third-party providers. 10. Contributing to the team's success by providing support to colleagues based on their needs.

Qualifications

1. Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills (C1 minimum) is essential for effective client interactions in the UK. 2. Possess 2-4 years of experience in Payroll or Finance. 3. Demonstrated customer service skills and experience. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines. 6. CIPP qualification is advantageous. 7. Knowledge/experience in UK, European, or Polish Payroll is a plus. 8. A Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, finance, or accounting is preferred.
