Senior Payer Liaison
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Payer Liaison to lead technical discussions and design access projects that deliver value to payers and providers across private channels and public healthcare institutions. Responsibilities include: Leading the development and implementation of strategies to secure access for Janssen's existing product portfolio with payers. Identifying and interpreting obstacles and business opportunities, providing short-term resolutions and recommending medium- and long-term solutions through qualitative analyses. Providing feedback to Access Strategy, Pharmacoeconomics/HEOR, Accounts, and business units on market trends, competitor actions, and account-specific strategic needs and challenges. Proposing tailored access models, adapting them to the different profiles of health insurers and public health bodies. Developing and preparing scientific evidence presentations and value frameworks to improve the effectiveness and precision of payer interactions. Focusing on achieving the KPIs established by the company for the area with a strong execution capability. Proposing and contributing to the development of value strategies for therapeutic areas for major national accounts and providers. Building strategic working relationships with industry associations to develop positive agendas for the relevant therapeutic areas (ABRAMGE, UNIDAS, FENASAÚDE, SOBRAFO, etc.). Creating stakeholder maps and engaging with actors from ANS, NATS, and members of COSAÚDE to anticipate government agency trends.
Qualifications
1. Degree in a health-related field (Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Medicine) or proven substantial experience in the healthcare sector (pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, health insurers). 2. Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical execution and strong teamwork capability. 3. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build internal and external working relationships. 4. Ability to communicate and understand scientific, economic, and regulatory concepts in the Brazilian healthcare landscape. 5. Intermediate English for reading scientific articles. 6. Approximately 80% field-based work. 7. Availability to travel.
