Senior Paralegal
Job Description
As a Senior Paralegal at LexisNexis, you will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements under attorney supervision, resolving contract issues with internal clients and external customers. You'll maintain and update contract templates, manage the contract lifecycle using systems like PCT, Adobe, and DocuSign, and conduct legal research. This role involves preparing pricing documents, assisting with corporate transactions, organizing electronic legal files, and collaborating with finance, pricing, and sales teams. You will also oversee legal processes, ensuring coordination and adherence to deadlines, and provide general legal support as needed.
Qualifications
1. Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2. Minimum 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, including exposure to commercial contracts. 3. Paralegal designation (or actively pursuing one). 4. Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and proficiency in legal terminology, concepts, and procedures. 5. Experience with modern document management software (Adobe, DocuSign, efficient PDF creation). 6. Skilled in Microsoft Office and relevant legal software tools. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8. Strong project and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple priorities. 9. High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. 10. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. 11. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
