Job Description

Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Oracle Application Developer, where you'll be instrumental in our Oracle-driven development initiatives, acting as the vital link between database design and application performance. Your daily tasks will involve creating, designing, and documenting structures for intricate permitting applications. You will be involved in applying necessary changes to meet functional and technical designs, resolving application problems, ensuring specifications are met, engaging with business analysts and stakeholders, supporting production systems, preparing technical documentation, actively participating in Agile ceremonies, and taking a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

1. Requires 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer utilizing PL/SQL (Oracle 19c/12c), Oracle Forms and Reports (12c), and Oracle APEX. 2. Demonstrable experience with advanced PL/SQL Development, including extensive work with complex Stored Procedures, Packages, and Triggers. 3. Must have a deep understanding of Modern Database Features: including PL/SQL Collections, Records, Table and Object Types, and Dynamic SQL. 4. Proven expertise in Application Integration, using Ref Cursors for fetching application data and Exception Handling for debugging. 5. Must have hands-on experience using Git and GitHub for Version Control. 6. Practical experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment utilizing Jira. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with QA staff and other developers.
