Senior Operations Business Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Operations Business Analyst to provide crucial oversight and support for customer service delivered by our strategic Third-Party Administrators (TPAs). This role involves developing and refining business processes to ensure TPAs consistently meet Zurich's high operational and performance standards. The analyst will set clear expectations, monitor ongoing performance, and proactively identify areas for improvement. This position requires addressing compliance issues promptly and escalating persistent patterns to senior leadership for resolution. The Senior Analyst will lead improvement and standardization projects with TPAs to optimize operational delivery and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and understand the impact of various scenarios on customer service and TPA performance. Recommending changes based on these insights will drive positive outcomes for both Zurich and our customers. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to define business needs and requirements for process or system changes. The role also involves leading implementation efforts that enhance business outcomes, customer experience, and operational efficiency, as well as developing tailored solutions that meet customer needs and business constraints.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in Insurance Operations OR High School Diploma and 8+ years of experience in Insurance Operations OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6+ years of experience in Insurance Operations 2. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field. 3. 5+ years of experience in operations management, business analysis, or third-party oversight. 4. Proven ability to lead process improvement and standardization initiatives. 5. Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive business decisions. 6. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building abilities. 7. Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus. 8. Third-party relationship management experience 9.
