Senior Network Engineer

Job Description

Assume a pivotal role in supporting the infrastructure modernization of both unclassified and classified base area networks. Spearhead site surveys and guide the Engineering team in crafting modernized network architectures. Expertly review and analyze network management and monitoring tools to provide detailed network topology insights. Contribute to the creation of robust network architectures, topology diagrams, and comprehensive data flow artifacts using Visio. Develop detailed Engineering Implementation Plans (EIP), complete with a comprehensive List of Materials (LOM). Actively participate in both internal and external technical discussions and meetings as required. Design, implement, and meticulously document secure network architectures. Ensure that all installations adhere to stringent industry safety standards and maintain operational cleanliness. Execute other duties as needed to support network infrastructure.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) and over 7 years of relevant experience. 2. Must have DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC). 3. Must have other Certifications: CCNP/JNCP or equivalent. 4. Must hold a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. 5. Hands on experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD. 6. Desired: Experience supporting OCONUS Army Network. 7. Practical experience working with USFK, and US Army Network infrastructure in Korea. 8. CISSP Certification.
