Senior Material Program Manager

Job Description

Join RTX as a Senior Material Program Manager, supporting aerospace supply chain strategies. This role involves leading supplier performance, owning material strategy, driving supply chain proposal activities, and serving as the primary supply chain interface. Responsibilities include managing material flow, leading supplier negotiations, establishing logistics strategies, ensuring accurate financial execution, partnering with Business Development, and defining material requirements.

Qualifications

1. Requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience. 2. Demonstrated experience managing suppliers or subcontracts within a complex program environment. 3. Experience collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers. 4. Experience across supply chain functions. 5. Ability to obtain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is preferred. 6. Experience with SAP, Ariba, Kinaxis, or similar systems. 7. Experience with Earned Value Management or program financial management. 8. Technical knowledge of circuit card assemblies and manufacturing processes. 9. Experience supporting development programs or transition to production. 10. Experience with international sourcing or global business operations. 11. Knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition regulations. 12. Experience working within an Integrated Product Team environment. 13. Experience supporting supplier statements of work and managing performance. 14. Experience supporting program risk management. 15. Strong analytical and project management skills. 16. Program or Material Program Management certification or equivalent.
