Senior Marketplace Manager – D2C

Job Description

Take full responsibility for our Amazon business (DACH focus, possibly USA expansion). Drive Amazon PPC & performance marketing: strategize, manage, and optimize all Sponsored Ads (SP, SB, SD) including DSP. Independently manage the advertising budget to meet profit goals (TACoS, contribution margin). Enhance listing & content: Develop and continuously optimize product listings, A+ Content, and Brand Stores, using AI-supported content and image creation (with internal design team support). Advance assortment: Independently research and identify products that fit as "Amazon-First" additions to our portfolio. Analyze data & report: Monitor all relevant KPIs (TACoS, ACoS, Profit, Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance) and derive concrete measures. Build & manage your own freelancer team (e.g., VAs for listing maintenance, reporting, reviews) – receive your own budget and independently manage your setup. Work directly with management – report directly to management and actively shape the Amazon strategy.

Qualifications

1. Several years of experience as an Amazon Manager / Marketplace Manager, demonstrably managing brands in the 7-figure+ revenue range. 2. Deep understanding of Amazon PPC and independently manage advertising budgets to meet profit goals (not just ACoS) – performance marketing is your core strength. 3. Proficient with Helium 10, Sellerboard (or comparable tools), and familiar with Brand Analytics. 4. Actively use AI tools (Claude, Nano Banana, etc.) for content and image creation. 5. Work analytically, independently, and entrepreneurially – you want to run a business, not just process tasks. 6. Fluent in German and proficient in English to confidently handle tools, platforms, and international freelancers.
