Senior Manager, Sales Training

Job Description

Viatris is seeking a Senior Manager for Sales Training to plan, design, develop, and facilitate training programs for the designated therapeutic area and selling skills. Responsibilities include applying instructional design methodology, conducting needs assessments, and staying current on industry trends. The role involves independently managing vendor relationships, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading launch planning and execution. This position requires a strong understanding of the Viatris business, regulatory environment, products, customers, sales opportunities, and challenges.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). 2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotech industry. 3. Previous corporate training experience is required. 4. Advanced working knowledge of adult learning principles, the ADDIE model and project management techniques required. 5. Knowledge of blended learning methods, including learning management system (LMS), digital engagement platforms and distance learning. 6. Familiarity with account management structures and business skills. 7. Strong facilitation skills, presentation skills, and excellent written communication required. 8. Ability to apply metrics and track key performance indicators to facilitate evidence-based learning strategies. 9. Ability to be agile while managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
