Senior Manager, Sales Engineering

Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering, and lead our efforts in the Ohio Valley and Midwest. Your role involves guiding a team in complex customer engagements, nurturing their technical skills, and enhancing their understanding of customer needs. Key Responsibilities: * Lead a team, supporting complex customer opportunities in the Ohio Valley and Midwest. * Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their technical expertise and customer knowledge. * Articulate Cohesity technology to the SE team and customers/prospects. * Enable the integration of Cohesity products into customer environments. * Respond to customer and partner inquiries with accurate information and proposals. * Drive secondary storage technology strategy for key customers and partners. * Develop and deliver product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals. * Implement proof of concepts to showcase Cohesity technology value. * Collaborate with product management on customer requirements and product improvements. * Provide project management and post-sales technical support as needed.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years of success in a customer-facing pre-sales role. 2. 5+ years managing Sales Engineers' teams. 3. Experience cooperating with customers and technology partners. 4. Experience selling Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software. 5. Comfort working with multiple decision-makers on proposals. 6. Excellent presentation skills for technical and business audiences. 7. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. 8. Proven track record of building strong internal relationships. 9. Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely and autonomously. 10. Willingness to travel within the territory. 11. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent. 12. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and decision-making. 13. English language proficiency.
