Senior Manager, Material Program Management

Job Description

Manage and provide leadership to a team of direct reports while nurturing talent development. Apply principles, concepts, industry practices, and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, and other next-generation ERP systems). Collaborate closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements. Oversee Master Data, MRP Scheduling, and Material Sales Forecasting. Generate Customer Proposals. Develop and implement Material Strategies that support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives. Prioritize Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s). Manage financial aspects (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.); assume overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communicate customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. Potentially serve as the Control Account Manager. At the forefront of the business, identify and secure Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and manage the Supply Chain content of the proposal pipeline. Maintain/Assess the integrity of the MRP environment and your programs’ schedule within that environment. Balance supply and demand to create/maintain executable schedules. Address Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations, and with suppliers. Generate and manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities. Be willing to travel Domestically/Internationally, as needed.

Qualifications

1. A University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience. 2. Experience with material requirements planning. 3. Active DOD clearance. 4. Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) through education and past experience in a manufacturing environment with the ability to provide creative and systemic solutions. 5. Strong analytical skills required to evaluate end-to-end planning and identify constraints, risks, and opportunities. 6. Experience with Advanced Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse). 7. Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e. pivot tables, filters, advanced formulas, macros, automation, MS Office Integration, etc.).
