Senior Manager, Last Mile Operations

Job Description

Take charge of Last Mile Operations as a Senior Manager. Ensure adherence to contract metrics while upholding impeccable operational standards. Play a pivotal role in staff development by hiring, training, and effectively managing personnel, including a contractor base team. Lead and mentor front-line managers, overseeing contract drivers operating across multiple regional locations up to 7 days a week. Cultivate strong customer relationships to drive continuous operational enhancements. Manage Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities and collaborate with the national sales team to identify and pursue new growth opportunities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience. 2. 5 years of operations experience. 3. Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Project). 4. Supervisory experience in a transportation/supply chain environment. 5. Profit and Loss (P&L) experience. 6. Proven leadership and collaboration skills with experience effectively supervising, coaching, and influencing employees. 7. Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills.
