Senior Manager, International Sales – EMEA

Job Description

Shape and implement a go-to-market strategy for the EMEA region, setting the stage for scalable growth at BambooHR. Build and manage a high-performing team of Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), focusing on hiring, coaching, and professional advancement. Establish core operational processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics. Adapt BambooHR's US sales approach into a locally relevant model across key European markets. Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps, Enablement, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and achieve results. Work closely with US-based deal desk, legal, and finance departments to facilitate deal structuring, pricing, and contract completion. Streamline contract negotiation and closure, maintaining clear visibility and control over deal progression. Cultivate BambooHR's partner network in EMEA to enhance customer value and generate additional demand. Act as a liaison between the EMEA market and BambooHR's US leadership, representing regional needs while upholding global standards. Provide hands-on sales leadership, assisting with key deals and demonstrating effective practices for the team. Oversee team engagement and performance, including retention, development, and improvement initiatives. Advise BambooHR's senior management on long-term hiring and organizational strategies for EMEA as the business expands.

Qualifications

1. Possess 5–8+ years of SaaS sales leadership experience, including managing both inbound and outbound sales strategies. 2. Have experience in building or scaling sales teams in EMEA, preferably in early-stage international expansion environments. 3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of European market dynamics, including regional differences in buying behavior, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance. 4. Have proven ability to create and implement a repeatable sales process, including territory design, pipeline generation, and accurate forecasting. 5. Possess experience in cross-functional collaboration to influence go-to-market strategy, product roadmap, and regional investment decisions. 6. Have hands-on experience with Salesforce and implementing sales operations best practices. 7. Demonstrate a track record of recruiting and developing top talent, including first-line managers. 8. Have experience working within a centralized or global deal desk model, emphasizing cross-border collaboration on contracts and pricing.
