Senior Manager, Global Benefits
Job Description
Join RTX as a Senior Manager, Global Benefits, and lead the design, implementation, and governance of benefits programs across Canada and Latin America. Balance company requirements with employee experience, focusing on insurance, time off, and retirement plans. Serve as the primary benefits expert for Canada and Mexico, aligning with local regulations and market practices. Partner with U.S.-based HR teams and cross-functionally with Legal, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and Communications. Design and manage benefits for globally mobile employees, including expatriates and cross-border employees. Manage relationships with regional brokers, consultants, insurers, and global vendors. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive RFP processes for regional or global benefits vendors.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years. 2. Minimum 6 years of benefits experience with a strong focus on Canada and/or Latin America (Mexico strongly preferred). 3. Demonstrated expertise in Canadian benefits (including provincial considerations) and/or Mexican statutory and supplemental programs. 4. Experience supporting globally mobile employees, including expatriate and cross-border benefits. 5. Experience working in a U.S.-headquartered or global organization with centralized governance models. 6. Proven ability to manage regional programs within a global framework (systems, approvals, shared vendors). 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 8. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities. 9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 10. Experience communicating complex topics to senior leadership level.
