Senior Manager, Accounting – Metal Solutions

Job Description

Join Cornerstone Building Brands as a Senior Manager of Accounting and play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial close process. Provide technical accounting guidance, ensuring adherence to US GAAP principles. Manage cost center accounting and reporting, while also being responsible for the design, system oversight, controls, and implementation of accounting processes. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all entities. Implement processes to ensure transaction accuracy and business purpose. Partner with various functions to optimize processes and controls. Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with company policies, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain effective internal controls.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2. CPA preferred 3. 10+ years of relevant experience 4. Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred 5. Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools 6. Experience as a people manager 7. Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle R12, NetSuite, JDE, Epicor) preferred 8. Experience in consolidation systems (OneStream / Hyperion) preferred
