Senior Linux Systems Specialist

Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Linux Systems Specialist and play a crucial role in supporting our expanding customer base. You will address technical challenges, nurture client relationships, manage client requests, and handle system alerts effectively. Your responsibilities include executing system patching, conducting health checks, and deploying solutions following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will also be involved in onboarding new clients and developing strategic roadmaps to enhance their infrastructure. Accurate time tracking for all tasks is essential.

Qualifications

1. Extensive knowledge of Linux-based operating systems. 2. Profound understanding of Networking principles. 3. Hands-on experience with various cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCloud, and Digital Ocean. 4. Ability to debug issues in Unix-based operating systems and IP-based networks. 5. Proficiency in RHEL or Debian-based Linux distributions. 6. Solid understanding of debugging containerized workloads. 7. Familiarity with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm. 8. Knowledge of Linux-based hypervisor systems and related tools like KVM, Xen/XCP-ng, and Proxmox. 9. Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python. 10. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 11. A 2-year technical diploma (CIS or CS) or higher.
