Job Description

Collaborate with the Product team to evaluate and refine course concepts before Ziplines commits to development. Manage the complete Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience, ensuring alignment with Ziplines' goals and processes, and setting SMEs up for successful content creation. Guide a select group of SMEs to expand on initial product briefs and develop detailed course syllabi, including weekly topics, capstone projects, and specific learning outcomes. Onboard and mentor module SMEs in designing module capstone assignments and applying backward design principles to outline lessons, exercises, and video scripts. Provide coaching to SMEs on video scripting, performance, and setup. Review and annotate raw video footage, collaborating with the graphics team to create impactful in-video visuals. Develop storyboards in Rise 360. Construct clear, illustrative, reinforcing, and practical elements within Rise 360. Design and refine capstone assignments using Google Suite. Create and modify live session slide presentations in Google Slides. Monitor and update task progress using established workflows in Monday.com and Notion. After course launch, analyze learner and market feedback from students, instructors, support staff, Product, and Marketing teams to revise and improve modules. Ensure Ziplines courses adhere to specific instructional design, visual design, brand voice, accessibility, and editorial guidelines. Meet all project deadlines to ensure timely course launches.

Qualifications

1. Possess 5 to 8 years of experience in developing asynchronous learning programs for adults within an ed-tech or for-profit setting. 2. Have at least 2 years of experience creating courses sold in a B2C or B2B context, specifically aligned with Ziplines' subject matter, including AI. 3. Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical use of modern AI tools, with a well-formed perspective on AI's role in instructional design. 4. Have a point of view on how to teach AI in a range of professional contexts. 5. Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and commitment to follow-through. 6. Be capable of navigating ambiguity and proactively addressing challenges. 7. Excel at working with Subject Matter Experts, effectively managing diverse personalities. 8. Possess experience in video coaching, editing, and ensuring content alignment. 9. Be fluent in Rise 360. 10. Have experience designing and building asynchronous learning in Ziplines' subject matter or related fields, with the ability to develop both software training and conceptual understanding. 11. Be able to adhere to design standards and templates, extracting relevant editorial and instructional design principles from examples. 12. Be self-managing, capable of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines, and proactively seeking clarification on unclear priorities or deadlines. 13. Demonstrate consistently fast, clear, and targeted writing skills, with the ability to adopt brand voice. 14. Have strong attention to detail. 15. Be a collaborative team player with cross-functional experience.
